Annually we send representatives from both our facilities to attend Supplier's Day which was hosted by the NYSCC.
This event showcases suppliers from all around the world looking to introduce new ingredients, showcase their best selling chemicals and inspire new products.
The highlights of this year's expo included an ingredinet that rejuvenates the skin by enhancing the supply of molecular oxygen to skin cells, several novel and naturally derived acne control and pore reduction ingredients and a variety of new appearance and textures from suppliers. There were some exciting new surfactants which provide mildness and softness, new preservatives, modified silicones which provide benefits additional to their sensorial properties and innovative actives for skin care and hair care.
Our R&D reps familiarized themselves with the newest trends in the cosmetic market, spoke with technical representatives and discussed formulation tactics and learned about the latest scientific research and publications within the personal care industry.
Overall the show was extremely successful with our team leaving with a great wealth of new information to bring back to Sigan.
